Perfection vs. Excellence
Perfection vs. Excellence (from this site):
and seen on my friend’s blog
I can’t even express how fitting this is for teaching, for life.
There is a wonderful rest and ease that comes from not having to be perfect… from not having to know all the answers and from having to be the “sage on the stage.” This list is fantastic!!! I’m printing one off for my office/desk area
.
Perfection is being right
Excellence is being willing to be wrong
Perfection is fear
Excellence is taking a risk
Perfection is anger and frustration
Excellence is powerful
Perfection is control
Excellence is spontaneous
Perfection is judgment
Excellence is accepting
Perfection is taking
Excellence is giving
Perfection is doubt
Excellence is confidence
Perfection is pressure
Excellence is natural
Perfection is the destination
Excellence is the journey
